[XFA] RM Marketplace

[XFA] RM Marketplace [Paid] 3.9.6

No permission to buy (€8.00)
It is misleading to buyers.
There are many who do not know where downloads :D

The reason I didn't put the button there is that sometimes resources can be bought multiple times by users.
Hence why I preferred not to remove the button.

Are you remove: Can buy Resource featuring
I do not see it displayed when upgrading to 3.3.2

Not that I know, unless something went wrong during the import.
It's not visible ? Do you see it in the permissions inside the xml file of the product ? (I can't check as I am not at home with files).

Why do not you try to test ?
I do not see error when import.

I didn't try as I don't have access to the files and at home I have to unpack (moved from home yesterday).
But I'll try to check either today or tomorrow.

How do you even enable this... I gave users permission to use it, however I have no idea how to even sell stuff on the page....

I looked through everything, and I see no tutorial on how to get it started once you've purchased it. Only how to install it, which is the same as every other addon.

Hi,

Have you followed the FAQ ?
It's here : http://xen-factory.com/index.php?documents/rm-marketplace.20/

Then, if you have set usergroup permissions that's good it's a first step.
Have you also configured the category to activate it ?

Clément
I just configured the category and still see nothing. I've also check the FAQ and it looks to be all API stuff, I haven't had an error as I don't even know how to get it to work.

Yes but you will need to setup that API to get paypal to work afterwards.

In any case, regarding the fact that you see nothing:
  1. Have you checked the permissions were set correctly through the permission analysis tool ?
  2. Does it work in the default style ? (sometimes there can be issues with custom styles as template modifications are used).

The screenshots are barely readable but ok.
Thought the default style seems not to be completely default as per the screenshot.

Can you post a screenshot of the category configuration ?

Can you post a screenshot of the template modifications related to market place ?

Thanks,
Clément

Alright, so I have it working. But now, I'm getting this error when trying to purchase the product

RPG Maker MV - Error
  • Please enter a number that is no more than 4294967295.
  • Please enter a valid name.

I put the API in and everything.

I also have the API username, password and signature.

What kind of resource where you creating ?
A normal resource? I'm not too sure what you're asking. Aren't all resources the same? Are you referring to a .zip file?

I had a .png uploaded. I just changed it to .zip and it still gives the

error.

No no I mean was it a digital products, physical product, service ?

It's a resource for sale right ?

Hi @MtoR! I must be missing something obvious, but if I could borrow your brainpower I'd appreciate it <3

Set up RM Marketplace this afternoon. My intention is for users to be forced to leave a review if they rate a resource, yet we seem to have managed to accrue some ratings which don't have reviews and which don't trigger the reviews tab on the resource. They're just listed as "ratings" which isn't clickable.

What am I missing?

Some config screenies:

[Edited out a bunch of screenshots, as question is answered, and they take up a lotta space on screen!]

As you can see, no Reviews tab, and the "8 ratings" isn't a link either. I've checked under the default XenForo theme too, and nada.

All ideas gratefully received! <3

Edited to Add: We did once have a User Ratings add-on installed, and removed it. Is it possible this add-on uses the same database tables, and therefore our users are picking up legacy ratings the moment they create a resource?

This part is not related to the marketplace but to the RM itself.

From my knowledge, the tab is only displayed when there are actually reviews, textual ones.
But in any case you should ask xF support on this.

Is this what you're referring too?

Yes, I think the issue comes from the fact that you set 99 years, it's too high.
One question, did you do that to make it unlimited ? In which case, put 0.

Cheers! Alas I edited my post and you got here before I did so, but:
