Have you try to disable that then testing?

OK, so disabling Unread Post Count seems to have stopped the duplicate alerts. Is there a way to get both add-ons to play nicely together? Any suggestions @Chris D?

I don't think Unread Post Count is the issue. The duplicate alert happens when a followed member replies to a thread I'm subscribed to... even if Unread Post Count is disabled.

I'm getting some complaints about the behavior of the add-on - when following a member from within a thread, you are redirected to their profile and then you have to navigate yourself back to the thread. Any ideas on how to fix this?
