XF 1.4 Mod log returns Server Error

When you go on the Mod Log in the forums (not in ACP) it returns a server error. The error is:
Server Error
json_encode(): Invalid UTF-8 sequence in argument .....

then it gives me a list of 6 file locations.

How do i fix this? Mod log works fine in aCP
