I know but the function I'm referring to is re-blogging. They call it 'tumbling' on Tumblr. Reblogging is featured on vBulletin's blogs too except you can't reblog other member's blogs like you can on Tumblr. What your able to reblog is a thread post. It's a small button under the postbit that says post to blog.

As convenient as that feature is, it isn't popular or used on other blogging software because it would piss some people off that someone reblogged their post. That's why vBulletin only limited it to thread posts. To prevent pissing members off from getting their threads reblogged without permission just add the checkbox 'Allow this post to be reblogged' or put it in a category (when he adds categories) where all posts can be reblogged.

What's to stop you from simply copying/pasting to your blog instead?

Even if you copy-n-paste, you won't always retain the same formatting as it was originally posted. A user would have to use bbcode or html. And wow believe it or not, some people STILL do not know how to copy-n-paste and if they do, they do so with much difficulty. This is why reblogging is extremely popular because it's so simple that even a child can do it. It's the main reason Tumblr is so popular. All it takes is a click.

In light of the recent announcement, I'd like to immediately clarify what will happen with the blog. To get the obvious out of the way, yes, it will now be paid from Beta 4 moving forward. So what will happen to the blog as-is?

XenFluence is Onimua, King Kovifor and Bobster65, they've just grouped together to offer products that'll work together well and are of high quality.

Beta 3 will remain free and available for use, but support will be minimal and updates are unlikely (Only to fix bugs most likely).

Can you add a password protected blogs or/and only members that you follow can read your blogs or a category of your blogs etc, like 'Create Private Blog' and 'Create Public Blog'

^^A member on my site pmd me then made a thread about it so I'm asking if you can considering creating that feature for the paid version. I'm going to look into this with wordpress cause I know your busy but if you do decide to add that feature I'd rather try yours.

the LIMIT is hard coded to 5 in the model. You can edit it.

There's plans in place to do so. No ETA right now.

Like I've said before, I'd like to but I'm still finishing something that's the basis for XI and until that's out of the way I can't shift back to the blog. I'll be able to say for sure when that release will happen after completion of the current project at hand.

If I miss releasing it before the end of December, then I'll definitely get it in January.
