Limited Guest Viewing Pro - Boost Registrations

Limited Guest Viewing Pro - Boost Registrations [Paid] v1.9.21

No permission to buy ($40.00)
I think you should combine this addon with your content blur addon as a single addon. Both addon goals are similar as I see.

@Wutime , my style is messed up on the register and login pages. The warmings are all good. But when it forces to register, the page is off. I am on 1.9.15 and XF 2.3.4. Happens in Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. Happens on the default style as well. With addon turned off, things are fine.

Login and register when you click on Click here to login :

Register:

EDIT: I was able to fix this by disabling This Addon.

There is some overlap, but currently, if both add-ons are installed, there is a feature to:
  • [Content Blur Pro] Blur posts instead of forcing registration

Thanks Wutime, I see that overlap so I suggest combining these 2 in one addon. Force registering and blur posting can be 2 different modes in same addon with a few changes. But of course, this is just a suggestion and final decision with you.

It's been considered, but there's so much overlap nuisance I decided against it. Plus, both can run in tandem to achieve unique outcomes it's best to keep them separated.

Yeah, please do. That other addon worked great before installing this one. They are just bumping heads.
They really shouldn't because of the following:
  • Both can be limited/separated by forum areas
  • Limited Guest Viewing ONLY targets guests and is very effective to garner registrations
  • Content Blur can target GUESTS and USERS
Limited Guest Viewing works really well to get people registered. Better than content blur from my statistics.

However, Content Blur can stand in its place, as well as promote/push paying memberships.

I think this is a style/CSS issue within the 2 addons. It happens on the default style as well.

Can you text me privately with your forum URL? So I can investigate on your site?

I don't think this is happening with any other customers, or myself, because if it was, everyone would notice/complain.

I had the same problem a while ago and you recommended me to edit the css from phrases and style, not from the template, but it didn't solve it.

Have you tried "reverting" any customizations you made for previous versions?

The current version of LGV is well tested on XF v2.3.4 and works without issues.

The reason I sgugest this is because a lot of changes have happened in the previous 5-10 versions of this addon. Including making the notice styles derived from "Style Properties".

So, any direct customizations to "CSS" or "Templates" shouldn't be needed in the vast majority of cases if running a recent version of LGV.

Does that make sense?

Can you send me a link or something to review if you still have an issue? Otherwise I'm shooting in the dark because everything version of XF I test on, things work well.
