This is what we had for dinner this evening.... Salmon with Healthy 'slaw and salad.

Absolutely delicious it was too!

Same here. I do love the taste of rainbow trout better though, poached. *feeling hungry*


Me too! I love a lot of different Fish, but the Salmon/Trout are the best!!! It is my favourite food I think.

For anyone thinking the Salmon was all a bit too healthy, I have to confess we followed it up with dessert... (a light version I made of a cheesecake with raspberries in jelly on top. )

I for one, don't smother my food to cover up flavors :rolleyes:.

anyway (as requested)

RISOTTO WITH BRILL, PRAWNS, SMOKED SALMON AND REDCURRANT
INGREDIENTS
Fillet of brill (280 grams)​
100 grams of smoked salmon​
60 grams of prawns​
1 leek​
190 grams of rice​
Half a glass of white wine​
1 liter of vegetable stock​
rosemary​
A bit of nutmeg​
Poppy seeds​
Redcurrants​
2 Tablespoons of cream​
Garlic​
Extravirgin olive oil​

Dice brill and smoked salmon. Mince your leek and put it into a pan with some olive oil. Let it brown then add brill, prawns, smoked salmon and rosemary. When everything is browned add garlic and 190 grams of rice and roast it. Pour white wine and let it evaporate completely. Now you have to add vegetable stock little by little. When it's done to a turn you can add some redcurrant berries, a bit of poppy seeds and nutmeg. To crown it all add 2 tablespoons of cream and serve hot.

OMG! this food sucks! :D you guys have really need to try Italian food instead ...
BITE YER TONGUE MAN! Dontcha mess with ma fish now. I love seafood, all kinds - salmon, trout, grouper, tilapia, swordfish, dolphin (the fish, not Flipper), etc. And shellfish - crab, clams, lobster - love all kinds of seafood - except oysters. They're just nasty. *shudders*
