I'm reviewing code that was sent to me by @Jim Boy

The changes he made on his own installation are:

* New retrieval of topics weighted to show recent topics with more weight - configurable
* Any topic that contains censored terms will not be shown in list
* Emphasis given to using widget framework and caching
* When saving or updating tags on posts, a check is made to see if the post is viewable and then flagged in database accordingly - necessary otherwise the retrieval of topics would either be very heavy or would show topics on private boards
* Database changes that include glag above, change to innodb and change to UTF-8.
* Install script to remove xm_hashtags_watch table on deinstall.

Everyone should thank him for going ahead and making the changes he wanted on his own AND giving me permission to release them to everyone. That was very nice.

I'm planning to push the changes Friday.

That must be one long hashtag you're using. I'll post a fix once I get on the computer.

I wasn't able to completely review it. I wasn't feeling well over the weekend and got a let less done than I would have liked. I didn't get to push out the Conversation Essentials revision either. I'm hoping to do both of those today.

2.1.0 - General Improvements

What's New:

• Weighting options to allow newer posts to bubble up.
• Censorship applies to tags now.
• Additional caching mechanisms introduced.
• Tags in private nodes won't show in the list anymore (used to result in an empty tag cloud)
• Database schema changes for better storing and allowing non-english characters.

A big thank you goes to Jim Boy for his help optimizing this add on for use with big boards.

if i rebuild the threads the hashtags are buggy. They look like:
[HASHTAG]#ddosschutz[/HASHTAG]

May you can fix this ?

I don't use the hashtag bbcode at all, can you link me to a post that shows this please?

I found the problem. I think that was caused by an old plugin.

I would like to have a option to limit the lenght of a hashtag

Is there a chance that you include this ?
