[bd] Forum Watch for XenForo 1.2+ 2.1.1b

No permission to download
Currently I only receive an email notification when someone creates a new thread. I do not receive a notification when someone posts a reply to that thread.

You need to read the new thread in order to receive further notifications for that thread. Did it work with replies in older threads?

That's just it. Let's say I do not want to have to go to the forums and read that thread since I've already read it when it came to my email?

I wondered if it would be possible to add usergroup permissions for this add-on?

Just a simple can/cannot use it?

I'd like to enabled it ONLY for my moderator team so we can watch the support/mods forums.

Cheers,
Shaun :D

I'm still a bit confused about this because when I choose to watch a forum, it asks me if I want to watch it for "New thread only" or "New thread and all reply". If I choose new thread and all reply, I do not receive an email alert for all replies, but by choosing that option, I should correct?

By default, the add-on only sends out email once for each thread until user come to read the thread again (this is similar to the default Thread Watch feature). However, this add-on allows add-on to turn on an option in AdminCP to always send email for new replies. See the attached screenshot.

I don't see that in my options.

Our users would like a no notifications option. Ie they don't want alert or emails, but they do want to have a list of just forums they are watching. How hard to add that?
That would be simple but it's not the point of this add-on so...
I understand the point of this add-on is to alert users when there are new threads or posts, but it would be extremely helpful for very large boards like mine if you incorporated a "no notifications" option. Here's why:

My board has 28 main categories and about 365 separate forums. The most popular of these forums receive hundreds or thousands of posts per day. Before we migrated to Xenforo, we had a "Favorite Boards" feature where a user could add a board to their favorites list for easy reference and navigation, rather than having to wade through 365 forums to the ones they actually frequent.

While the notification feature is great for forums that don't get a lot of traffic, it would be awesome if the user had the ability to choose whether or not they receive alerts for a particular board. That way this addon could be used as both a favorites list and a notification tool.
