You could disable push notifications in the ACP, I doubt that would change the users settings.

My php 8.2 upgraded via automation this week, so I re-installed php 8.1 and rolled my XF site back to it. Now I'm seeing a message in the Server environment report:

My php 8.2. build is still showing as 8.2.16 on cPanel

XF 8.2.26 works well on php 8.1 for now until the issue is resolved

Same here and on other 2.2.x forums I test.

Hope Xenforo can fix it for 2.2.16, as we cant upgrade to 2.3.x at the moment.

I go back to PHP 8.1.31 (thats working for me - thanks for the hint) for now and hope for a fix.

Dang, my forum is not usable at all on PHP 8.1. I get many errors and it doesn't let me downgrade to the pervious PHP 8.2 version. PHP 8.3 has the same issue like PHP 8.2

Yes, same here - 8.1.31 is only a half solution for a very short time, and 8.3.x brings similar problems like latest 8.2.26 ... :-(

And sorry, but XF 2.3.x is at the moment for me not a solution. After @Ozzys farewell to his add-ons, I can't currently update because too many updates are still missing. :-(

I realy hope @Paul B and the Xenforo Team will come with better news - with a patch for Xenforo 2.2.16 eg to fix that.

Yeah well I was waiting too but I erred on the side of stability and spent less than an hour with templates and add-ons. Glad I did.

I understand - but Xenforo 2.2.16 was stable up to this ****i PHP 8.2.26 auto update.
So I hope at the moment Xenforo stand to his worth and will be back to compatibility with PHP 8.2.x

IF not, its a black day and I have a lot of extra work to do to upgrade to 2.3.x
I hoped I can spring over that directly to XF 2.4 - but without a fix... my plans are for the cat...
