yes, but I don't think lots of 301 internal redirects are good way to improve SEO on forum ;-)
yes, I know that. I added that post only to give some more info about it, as it seams that core dev are not interested in that, so maybe will be some 3rd party.

Is that the only add-on so far that was able to add the prefix to the thread URL? I'm poking around but don't see anything else so far that offers the functionality.

SEO2 addon has no option to add prefix to thread URL, only can change display prefix on thread <title>
 
Did anyone figure out a way to do this? The reason I ask is because apparently this is a requirement for "Video" pages in Google. If you have a video page, apparently the term VIDEO needs to be in the URL slug and the title. If you use prefixes these never appear in the title or URL slug afaik... It does appear in the title, actually, but not the URL slug.
