Description:

Show first post only to guests.

Please note that when this add-on is used, search crawlers like Google will only be able to index the first post.

Features:
  • Thread status only shown if there is more than one post in a thread.
  • All phrases start with andy_firstpostonly_ for your convenience.
CSS changes:

If you would like to change the appearance of the Thread Status notice, you can add the following to your EXTRA.css template. Change the colors as desired or add other elements.

Installation:
  1. Download addon-firstpostonly_v1.0.zip and unzip it.
  2. From your Admin Control Panel, go to the "Install Add-on" page.
  3. Upload the addon-FirstPostOnly_v1.0.xml file.
  4. Click the Install Add-on button.

Like any other Andy's addon this is a must have for me. I run a private forum so having the possibility to let the visitors see only the first post create curiosity to see more so that the visitor maybe will become a registered user... Fantastic work Andy.

Does exactly what it claims to do. Very useful and very straightforward to use. A per forum option would probably be useful (though it's not required by me).
