That’s a different thing than when the PWA shows a stand-alone file (like a download). You can’t insert JavaScript for things like a back button because it’s not an HTML page to begin with.
 
(1) Is it possible for Xenforo to use templates specific for the PWA to "intercept" this PWA direct download problem ?
and then ... what about giving the PWA user the option of receiving the download via email ?

(2) Is it possible for Xenforo to use templates specific for the PWA to prevent the PWA access to direct downloads ?

(3) Does this super quick screen represent a possible way to intercept the direct download ? It came up briefly when I tried to download the .pdf in this thread.
 
(4) can all the attachment links be turned into "Email this attachment to me" and the user can receive the attachment via email .. vs. crashing the PWA ?
