XF 1.1 How to add a logo on the right side of the navigation bar

Dear all,

after joining a publisher network I have to include their logo in the visible area (top). I'd love to include it on the right side of the menu bar. Does anyone know if and how it is possible to reduce the width of the whole menu bar and insert the logo next to it (red square in the picture)?

Did you try something like adding an image to the beginning of the navigation template near the top, with css

.pageContent nav .myRightImg { float: right; }

?
