Hello. I know that the latest version of Xenforo is 2.3, but I think there are many bugs. So what is the most stable version? I want to buy it, but I have doubts.
Doubt as the best version.

Not really anything to worry about. Get the free demo and check for the bugs you think it has. Most may well be the editor, eg pasting tables from Excel. If that’s an issue for you start with 2.2.

There's always going to be bugs, so if this is your mindset, you're unfortunately never going to buy
2.3.4 isn't as buggy as the early 2.3 versions, so if you're starting a new forum, I would go with it.
2.2 isn't in a good place with the recent security updates and the manual patches they released if you're using the resource manager / media gallery. I think there's an unresolved issue with modifying permissions in one of them (can't remember).
Right now the bugs aren't too serious in 2.3 but I have still (obviously) received complaints about some of them.
I'd say you're good as long as you're not a video community using the media gallery (it's bad right now).

Which version should I start with? Also, what exactly is the extension of the latest version? Is it 2.3.4? Or is 2.2.14 a good place to start?

I would always go with the latest version, bugs are something that are always going to be found. At least the developers work on getting them fixed.

If you're having hassles with it all go with the xf cloud. It means you do not have to go through the upgrades as the staff do it for you.
