The fields could be used better by xenforo, fx
OK, regarding proposal 3) Option that users which have checked X are automatically in user group X, I can see
this can be automatically done by user group promotions which is a nice. In this way, notifications, xf widgets and notices can be shown to users with specific interests.
Still proposing 1), 2 and 4)
- Option to to see how many users have custom field X checked/interest X
- Option top email all users which have a distinct value of custom field
- Option that users which have checked X are automatically in user group X,
unlesss overridden by other choice and default usergroup selected if this
custom field is selected by user - Option that style shown to user is based on usergroups or some custom fields,
fx users with value Y in an custom field automatically browses with style Y,
unldess overridden by other choice
