XF 2.1 Add-on is listed in the ACP even after uninstallaiton and file deletion

I noticed an anomaly in my XF setup which is not showing any symptom except causing itches to me due to the inexplicable behavior.

I have uninstalled an add on from the ACP, and then deleted all the files from src/ and js/ (nothing else in other folders), but still, the addon is listed in my ACP as Installable add-ons.

I have checked the xf_addons table in the database and there is no entry of that particular addon.

What could be the issue?

My XF is upgraded to the latest version.

1) Clear browser cache
2) Make sure that there is no intermediate cache (Proxy, FastCGI Cache, etc.)
3) Re-Check that you have deleted the files

Checked in Incognito mode, same result.

Well, my site runs on CloudFlare, but this never happened before despite that face.

I have replied to the ticket regarding this.

The message in the ACP is triggered solely by the presence of the add-on json file on the server - it has nothing to do with the database.

The associated directories and files must be deleted from: src/addons/<addon/id>/addon.json

My bad, I deleted (and rechecked) the files from a duplicate folder which I created for a test upgrade!
