When I was working on a proposal to take over a forum a couple years ago, the original forum had colours similar to Xenforo default so I was just going to create a child of default and then do some tweaking to make it more like the original. Project didn't come off but it gave me an appreciation for default. That said, there's some things we do on Wondercafe2 that are made much, much easier by using a Pixel Exit style as the base (thanks [USER=296]@Russ[/USER]).
