media field

When creating media fields, it would be really useful to be able to choose a container and have the media field applied automatically to all new categories created in that container. Otherwise, you end up with the painful workflow decsribed here...

When adding a new category, there is currently no option to specify which media fields should be used. Current functionality requires us to create the category, then go and edit the media field to specify that this categoy should use the media field.
