Interesting.. I've got a spare ipad that I don't use, I might see if safari can bring up errors like chrome can. Also, does this affect safari on all OS's or just IOS/IPadOS?

Thanks for your opinion but people inquiring about something shows that there is still interest and would like to know about certain things. By now, any conflicts could or should have been resolved, hence my asking.

Can you tell us about the current status of the addon? Such as... *Is it being fixed for a new release? *Are you able to re-release it currently or is there still a conflict of ownership? *Or is there just a lack of interest, perhaps for a different addon to replace it?

I think the best way to go about it would be to leave a notice about the upcoming merger. Let them discuss it, then plan for the merger to happen, at which point you can also plan when to shutdown the old board or archive it.

You would have to dig in and alter the code to change the dimensions to the "expected size".

Even if they did remove that feature, it can still be fetched if this mod implements google search console integration, should be possible to also pull from bing & yandex webmaster tools. And it does appear to pull search terms from the local forum searches.
