Actually - if a user belongs to 2 secondary usergroups, how would the maximum and minimum rules behave?

Does it obey the rule that allows the higher number of maximum images? And does it allow the lowest number of minimum images? if there are multiple rules of different usergroups

For example:

User primary group "Registered": Maximum image: 0
User Secondary group " Registered 1": Maximum image: 0
User Sseconary group "Registered 2": Maximum image 1

In this case, what is the "Global" setting? Is it defaulted to the forum option> maximum image per post? If that is set to 10 per default, is it overriding the secondary group setting because it is the less restrictive?

It is a standard integer permission, so the highest value wins. You must use the analyse permission tool to inspect a user for what is being actually applied instead of looking at a single user-group.

I used the user permission analysis tool:

Global Maximum image: 1
Specific forum Maximum image: 1

But it can still post 2 images to that specific forum
