    Joomla Bridge using JFusion

Currently, it's untested. I am aware that there are some issues with JFusion and Joomla 2.5 due to the duplication of JVersion. There may also be other issues.

    Joomla Bridge using JFusion

For anyone else having problems with Joomla 1.7, I just uploaded a new version that fixes a small database related bug.

    Joomla Bridge using JFusion

I've just completed initial testing with Joomla 1.7 and as far as I can tell, everything works as it should. glad you got things sorted Steve, looks like it's all working for you too.

    Joomla Bridge using JFusion

Your right, JFusion is a little complicated to get up and running, but I assure you, once you have it installed, it is MUCH easier than IP.Content and doesn't require you to rebuild everything from scratch after each upgrade. Installation of JFusion itself is just the same as installing any...

    Joomla Bridge using JFusion

JFusion is a Joomla plugin, so it will not work at all without Joomla. However, you could create an installation that uses Joomla, JFusion, Xenforo and Magento to get things basically working. Such a setup will give single signon. ie. if you login via Magento, you will be logged into Joomla...

    Joomla Bridge using JFusion

I just wanted to post an update for anyone thinking of using this plugin. There has been a problem with the logout functionality. However, the problem only occurred between specific versions of Joomla and JFusion (Joomla 1.5.23 and JFusion 1.5.6). There is now a stable version of JFusion 1.6...

    Joomla Bridge using JFusion

Yes, that's the basic issue, iframes work, but search engines struggle to index them properly. By far your best option is just to get a designer to do a Joomla theme to match your Xenforo skin (or vice versa).

    Joomla Bridge using JFusion

Hi AzzidReign, it is very confusing at first. Basically, it is possible to write code inside a JFusion plugin that allows the forum to be displayed in the same skin as Joomla. There are two ways of doing this, one method uses frames to give the appearance of visual integration, the second is...

    Joomla Bridge using JFusion

Glad you like it. The logout problem is an odd one in that as yet, I've been unable to reproduce it, but I'll be building a new test installation this weekend from scratch. Hopefully that or the logs from Saeed will allow me to track down the issue. You are correct about the single sign on...

    Joomla Bridge using JFusion

Still no luck, I tried with both JFusion 1.6.0rc1 and 1.5.6, but could not get them to fail. Please login to your Joomla admin section and go to Components->JFusion->Login Checker, enter a username and password, then click the 'Check Login' button. I'm expecting this to work, but please copy...

    Joomla Bridge using JFusion

Using the 1.6RC1 version of JFusion, this works with Joomla 1.6, but is untested with 1.7 (yet).

    Joomla Bridge using JFusion

OK, I have a problem in that I cannot reproduce your issue. So far, I've been trying to reproduce it with Joomla version 1.5.22 stable, can you just confirm which version you are having the problem with ? I need to reproduce your issue to be able to track down the problem.

    Joomla Bridge using JFusion

The JFusion software used for this addon already supports wordpress, so providing you are willing to install Joomla as well (which is required for JFusion to work) you should be able to share login details with wordpress also. That said, I haven't tested this configuration, but it should be...

    Joomla Bridge using JFusion

Hi Saeed, I'm good thanks, but a little busy. I'll test the new version this weekend sometime and figure out what the problem is. So assuming it's nothing too major and that I can reproduce the issue, I should have a fix by the end of the weekend.
